Sara Varon
Sara Varon is a printmaker, graphic novelist, and children's book author/illustrator living in Brooklyn. Her books - including Odd Duck, Bake Sale, Robot Dreams, and Chicken & Cat - have received many accolades. Among other achievements, Odd Duck was selected by Kirkus Reviews as one of the Best Children's Books of 2013, Bake Sale was names a YALSA Great Graphic Novel for 2012, and Robot Dreams was selected by Publishers Weekly as one of the 150 Best Books of 2008. Sara was a recipient of the 2013 Maurice Sendak Fellowship and a 2014 Eisner nominee. She currently teaches at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
